This work is a short fanfare commissioned by my colleague and friend, Dr. Amanda Pepping and the Georgia State University Trumpet Choir on the occasion of their performance at the 37th Annual Conference of the International Trumpet Guild. Written for ten trumpets, the work is a buoyant celebration of Spring and the awakening Earth as well as an exploration of the various timbral and textural combinations of the ensemble.
